Queenstown is a quaint lil town nestled in South Island Of Newzealand.
On your arrival to Queenstown by flying in you will be welcomed by the majestic mountain ranges called the Remarkables, this snow capped mountain range stand proud beside the lake Wakatipu. It’s a long Z shaped lake formed by the melted glaciers and the lake is more than 300 ft deep.
This cosy lil picturesque town has an population of 15000+ people n see’s double \triple the population during summer n skiing season.

For a town this small they have remarkable number of restaurants with varied cuisines. My food journey in this city started with their towns hottest selling burgers called Fergburger.

Fergburger seems to be very popular and almost every tourist doesn’t leave town without having their world famous burgers I presume.

Look at the crowd behind me and this say it all. We waited for ard 45 mins to lay our hands on their burgers. My daughter and I enjoyed their falafel burgers called the Bun Laden. It was juicy and succulent falafel patties loaded with veggies and extra helping of their aioli sauce made it delicious and juicy. This combined with a small portion of hot fries was just right for the freezing climate.

The burger by itself was quite huge… as a reference point double in size of a McVeggie. It was a hearty meal and was a good start for my gastronomic journey in Queenstown.

We ended the meal with gelato from their neighbors Fergs Gelato. Salted caramel, Apple pie n Chocolate won our hearts over.
Stay tuned for more interesting stories from my journey into beautiful land of New Zealand.
